As an INFJ with a Virgo moon, I thrive on routines and structure. Recently, I’ve crafted a daily routine that incorporates Islamic practices and wholesome activities to address feelings of unfulfillment. I’m excited to share this, hoping it inspires you to find your own path to wholeness.

Morning Routine:

  • Fajr (Dawn Prayer): Wake up for Fajr, using this serene time for spiritual reflection. Meditate and set intentions for the day. Read at least one page of the Quran.
  • Breakfast: Enjoy Talbina and a berry smoothie, followed by chai. Adapt this to your preferences – the key is nourishing your body mindfully.
  • Nature Connection: Spend 10-15 minutes outdoors. This could be a brief walk, tending to plants, or simply sitting in your garden.

Mid-Morning:

  • Snack: Energize with dates and walnuts or a colorful fruit bowl.
  • Physical Activity: Aim for 30-45 minutes of exercise. This could be strength training, pilates, yoga, or a nature walk – choose what feels right for you each day.

Afternoon:

  • Lunch: Refuel with a nutritious meal like a quinoa and grilled chicken bowl. Consider occasionally sharing this meal with a colleague or friend.
  • Dhuhr & Dhikr: Post-prayer, take a moment for personal reflection. Assess your morning and adjust your intentions for the evening if needed.
  • Creative Time: Dedicate 30 minutes to a creative pursuit – journaling, sketching, writing, or any artistic endeavor that speaks to you.

Evening:

  • Dinner: Connect with family or friends over a nourishing meal. If dining alone, consider a video call with loved ones. Practice mindful eating, savoring each bite.
  • Social Connection: Spend 30 minutes engaging in meaningful conversation, either in person or virtually. This could be deep discussions with close friends or reaching out to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.
  • Isha & Journaling: Conclude your day with the Isha prayer followed by reflective journaling.

Tips for Personalizing Your Routine:

  1. Flexibility is Key: This routine is a guideline. Feel free to adjust timings and activities to suit your lifestyle and energy levels.
  2. Listen to Your Intuition: As an INFJ, trust your intuition about what you need each day. Some days may require more solitude, others more social interaction.
  3. Balance Solitude and Connection: While alone time is crucial for INFJs, make conscious efforts to connect with others in ways that feel authentic to you.
  4. Incorporate Your Passions: Weave in activities that align with your personal interests and values throughout the day.
  5. Adapt to Seasons: Consider how your routine might change with the seasons, both in terms of nature’s cycles and your personal energy fluctuations.

Remember, the goal is to create a rhythm that nurtures your spirit, mind, and body. Experiment with different elements and be patient as you find what works best for you. May this routine help you discover a sense of purpose and wholeness in your daily life.??
