Life has been a crazy ride for me, with plenty of bumps and detours along the way. I thought I had it all figured out when I fell in love during college, but after 8 long years, my partner and I realized we were better off as friends. Talk about a total bummer!
I was left feeling lost and numb, despite doing everything I was supposed to do. It seemed like my life was totally off track. But I knew I had to make a change if I wanted to find “the one” and get my timelines back on track. So, I packed my bags and moved to Washington D.C. on only two weeks’ notice – because why the heck not? Spontaneity is the spice of life!
Since then, I’ve had an amazing nomad year, exploring different parts of the world and soaking up new cultures. It was a wild and incredible experience that taught me so much about myself and what I want out of life. And now, I’ve settled in San Francisco of all places – who would have thought?! But life has a funny way of surprising you, and I’m learning to embrace the unexpected twists and turns.
So, join me as we navigate our 30s, learn to live for ourselves, and tell those timelines to take a hike – all from the hills of San Francisco and beyond.
